How to Merge PDF Files on Your Phone (Android & iPhone)

Updated July 2026 · 5 min read · KaagazPDF Guides

You often need to send several documents as a single file — a mark sheet plus a certificate, or a set of photographed pages as one PDF. Doing this on a phone used to mean installing a bulky app that watermarks your file or asks for a subscription. You don't need any of that. This guide shows how to combine PDFs (and photos) into one clean file directly in your mobile browser.

What you can combine

Merge several PDFs into one

  1. Open the KaagazPDF Merge tool in your phone's browser.
  2. Tap the drop area and select the PDFs. On iPhone they come from Files; on Android from your file manager or Downloads.
  3. Drag the files (or use the up/down arrows) to set the order they should appear in.
  4. Tap Process, then Download. You now have one combined PDF.

Turn photographed pages into one PDF

This is the most common need — you have photos of a document and want a single PDF to upload or email.

  1. Open the Image to PDF tool.
  2. Tap to select — on both Android and iPhone the picker opens your Photo gallery directly, so you can tick several photos at once.
  3. Arrange them in reading order.
  4. Process and download. Each photo becomes a neatly centred page.
iPhone note: because KaagazPDF's image tools open your Photo Library directly, you don't have to first save pictures into the Files app. Just pick them straight from Photos.

Make the merged file smaller

Merging photos can create a large PDF. If the combined file is over your upload limit, run it through the Compress tool and choose "Extreme" — a multi-megabyte photo PDF typically drops below 200 KB while staying perfectly readable.

No watermark, no signup to merge

Many phone apps stamp a watermark across your merged PDF unless you pay. KaagazPDF adds no watermark. You can process files freely; a quick free account is only needed at the download step so your daily free usage can be counted fairly. The document itself is never uploaded — merging happens on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reorder pages after merging?

Yes — set the order before processing by dragging the files, or use the Organize pages tool afterwards to reorder, rotate or delete pages.

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?

You can merge many files at once. Very large combined files are limited only by your device's memory.

Does it work offline?

After the page loads once, yes — the merge runs locally in your browser.
